At 18, I joined the corporate world convinced it was the only path to success. Ten years later, I found myself overworked, undervalued, and stuck asking myself:

 'Is this really all there is to life? 
Spoiler: It wasn't!

I'd often daydream about owning a creative business, but like so many, I felt trapped by the “play it safe” mindset. Still, the dream wouldn’t go away. So, I tested the waters with creative ventures alongside my full-time role—designing for local businesses, taking on art commissions, and even running an Etsy shop.

That was until it hit me. I didn’t just love running my own business—I was passionate about the design, the marketing, and the strategy behind it all.

And the best part? I was good at it!

Fast forward to 2021, after years of learning, planning, and (let’s be real) procrastinating, I finally took the leap and launched NorthRose.

A part-time photographer looking to take her side-hustle full-time had been looking for a designer for some time. She seen my first post on Instagram, checked out my website, and booked as quickly as she found me. It was then I knew I’d found my calling.

Today? I feel so lucky to work with amazing clients around the word to build unforgettable brands and powerful websites that turn their big, scary dreams into reality.
